Our extra-curricular highlights
At Broken Hill Public School, we value providing students with opportunities to participate in educational and enriching incursions that enhance classroom learning. These engaging experiences allow students to explore new ideas, develop practical skills and deepen their understanding through hands-on activities and interactions with experts. Our incursion program supports student curiosity, inspires a love of learning and creates meaningful connections between the curriculum and the world beyond the classroom.
Creative and performing arts
Our drama, music and art programs help students be creative and express themselves. They can join in concerts, art shows and drama activities.
Trips and excursions
Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn and try new things. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and see how their learning connects to the world.
High Potential And Gifted Education
The Central Family believes that every child has potential to shine, and our HPGE program is designed to cultivate their potential.
Students are selected to participate in the program in consultation with their classroom teacher, our learning and support teacher and the HPGE co-ordinator
